Welcome to Subala's Blog
As a long time reader of blogs I know exactly what I want this to look like. Exciting, inspiring, educational, a little seam busting and a lot of fun with major practical application.
I anticipate a lot of anatomy and makeup, life hacks and introspection.
I see the bigger picture: How to look good, feel good and be a good person, role model and teacher.
On a weekly basis you will be seeing my favorite Beautycounter products and how to use them along with some other must have's from Amazon.com.
You will be seeing a journal entry prompt on a weekly or biweekly basis. How to write and reflect, how to put your dreams into actions, how to feel great all the time and seek your dharma.
I also have a feeling I will be providing you with the best playlists ever for yoga and life in general ... a world without music looks much like a world with no color. Yoga playlists means a lot of yoga poses and most likely strength and conditioning workouts that you can do anywhere, everywhere and even the hard to fit places.
What is a healthy lifestyle and workout schedule without some delicious recipes? I mean, srsly? This isn't the air and water diet here. This is real life. We're busy but a girls gotta eat!
Most importantly - it's not a diet. It's not a fad. There is no magic happy pill. There's not a lose weight fast pill and there certainly isn't a milkshake either. Truth is, you could be ultimately fit, good doctors report, "perfect family".... and still be sad - which still isn't healthy. To be healthy is a balance and contentment with mind, body, spirit, social, business and family life. You could add other layers to that definition to apply to YOUR life but to be truly healthy is a balance of our environment we live in. Subala's purpose is to help you carry yourself through life with the beauty, strength and grace to withstand it all and still feel good after you've weathered the storm.
So, welcome and thank you for stopping by. The next year or so will be a year of beauty, strength, focus, growth and attractiveness. Which reminds me, what are your words of the year/month? Did you pick any? I'd love to hear them but if you didn't pick any, check back Thursday for your first journal prompt.
my heart hugs your hearts. namaste.
